A cashmere-silk blended “Paperoles” shawl by Claudia Stuhlhofer-Mayr for Hermès. “Paper Rolls” is a gorgeous, complex design references a rare, intricately crafted 19th-century ceremonial carriage made from rolled paper in the Hermès family objet collection featuring intricate details among the paper crafting like movable wheels and a silk lining. Unusually for Chicologie, this piece is in notably poor condition with a significant number of holes; condition photos were taken over a pink backdrop to highlight them all to the best of my ability. This print and style are incredibly rare, and with proper styling can be worn to disguise flaws and give this treasure a chance at another life. 55” square. Crafted in France.
